More than ever, young children and their families need teachers who can help them navigate an increasingly diverse and changing world. Many of the principles and philosophies of Montessori Peace Education are already aligned with anti-bias and anti-racist (ABAR) principles and practices but is this enough? What can we do beyond just diversifying our bookshelves and celebrating different holidays? In this webinar, we will examine to what extent our Montessori practices align with ABAR best practices, and what you can do as an educator to deepen your commitment to anti-bias, anti-racist education.
Tom has worked as guide for children and adolescents in both public and private Montessori environments, in the US and UK.
