Montessori Teacher – 4 Days per Week

Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum + generous signing-on bonus
Hours: Four days per week (one day off per week), 36 hours per week, between Monday and Friday. Permanent position.
Location: Herne Hill / Dulwich near Brixton – excellent transport links

Under the Willow is a happy Montessori nursery in Dulwich / Herne Hill SE21. We are looking to meet a Montessori Teacher who loves working with young children.

The Role

• Provide a nurturing and stimulating environment to facilitate children’s growth, exploration, participation, and independence

• Coordinate with other teachers to create lesson plans

• Observe and interpret children’s needs

• Treat all children with equal importance

• Maintain regular communication with parents

• Supervise and manage the children

• Monitor and track children’s progress on a regular basis

Qualifications

• Montessori Diploma or above

• 1–2 years’ experience in childcare (ideal)

• Newly qualified candidates are welcome to apply

• Ability to deliver high-quality practice

• Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures

• Passion for early years education and a love of working with young children
